Aurora Centre for the study of Ancient Civilizations, Peking University

The Aurora Centre for the Study of Ancient Civilizations at Peking University was established in August 2003 as a joint initiative between the Aurora Museum and the Centre for the Study of Ancient Civilizations at Peking University. The Centre is primarily engaged in research on the origins, structures, models, and development of ancient civilizations. Leveraging Peking University’s academic strengths, the Centre collaborates with academic institutions and scholars at home and abroad, applying the latest research methods and achievements to continuously enhance its research capacity and deepen its scholarly outcomes, thereby promoting the construction and development of related disciplines.
