Q1: Can the membership card be given as a gift? How does it work?
Yes, the membership card can be gifted before activation. Purchase the desired membership card in the “Aurora Museum” WeChat Mini Program under the “Membership” section. Go to “My - My Activation Codes”, find your order, and click “Gift”. Your friend will receive the activation code via WeChat. They can open the Mini Program, bind their personal information, and click “Activate” to complete the activation.
Q2: Are there any restrictions on the use of the membership card?
The membership card is real-name registered and cannot be changed. The Membership Card(Dual) allows the cardholder to bring one companion (non-fixed identity) to visit the Museum Collection exhibition and use the audio guide. The cardholder must be present.
Q3: Where can I redeem the member gifts?
During the validity period after activation, gifts can be redeemed at the Aurora Museum Cultural and Creative Store on the first floor, A Café 1, or A Café 5. Delivery service is not available.
Q4: Is there a validity period for the membership card?
The membership card is valid for 365 days from the date of activation.
Q5: Can I request a refund if I no longer want the membership card?
A full refund is available within 7 days of purchase if the membership card has not been activated.
Q6: Can I change the membership type after purchasing?
(e.g., from Dual Membership to Individual Membership or vice versa)
No, once activated, the membership type is fixed and cannot be changed.
Q7: How can I renew my membership if it has expired or is about to expire?
Within the validity period, you can renew by clicking “Renew” in the “Membership” section of the Mini Program. Select the renewal period, complete the payment, and the validity will automatically extend. After expiration, you need to purchase and activate a new membership card.
Q8: Can I change the membership type when renewing?
No, membership type cannot be changed during renewal. You may wait until the current membership expires and then purchase and activate a new type of membership card.
Q9: Where can I purchase the membership card?
Currently, membership cards are only available for purchase and use through the “Aurora Museum” WeChat Mini Program.
